Stephen Jeffrey Perkins

Stephen Jeffrey Perkins (SJ) is the beloved son of Stephen Warner Perkins and Kathleen Elizabeth Perkins. SJ was brought into this earth on December 15,2020 in McKinney, Texas. The Lord was so eager to bring SJ’s light into the world that SJ came two months early. While doctors worried that he would be in the hospital for two months, SJ’s amazing spirit and strength brought him home in just over four weeks as a beautiful, happy, healthy baby. In May of 2021, the Perkins family moved to Edmond, Oklahoma where SJ had the run of three acres at their new home. There he brought his light, happiness, and sweetness to so many family members and friends who cherished him. During his time here on earth, he enjoyed giving kisses, riding in the laundry basket, poking fingers into people’s noses, finding fun hiding spots to stash away treasures, and playing with absolutely anything and everything that wasn’t an actual toy. Everyone who met SJ remarked that he was one of the sweetest, happiest babies they’d ever seen. Although brief, the Lord blessed this world with his shining light. SJ was survived by his parents Steve and Beth Perkins; brother Jude Perkins; grandfathers Stephen Hall Perkins and Dwayne Gordon Barber; grandmothers Pamela Angela Munier and Kay Louise Barber. He was deeply loved and cherished, and will be greatly missed by many. A service celebrating the beautiful life of Stephen Jeffrey Perkins will be at 10am on Friday, June 17th at Crawford Funeral Service in Edmond with burial following at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond.
