Rita Gayle Baker, 78, went to be with the Lord on November 16,2018. Gayle was born in Macomb, Oklahoma to Earl and Ellen Cope on March 23,1940 and was the second of three daughters. Gayle graduated from Southeast High School in OKC in 1958 and attended Hills Business College from which she graduated in 1959. She married Willard E. Baker, Jr. on May 1, 1959. Gayle had a love for cooking, along with gardening and watching various sporting events. She is survived by her husband, Willard ("Will") of OKC, OK and her four children; daughter Stephanie and her husband Glenn Freeman of Haslet, Texas, daughter Tracey and her husband Sheldon Swan of Edmond, OK, son Dean Baker of Edmond, OK and daughter Carrie Morris of Edmond, OK, her sisters Leta Jo Ruth of OKC and Frankie Earlene Holland of Midwest City, OK. In addition, she leaves behind 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons along with 1 great grandson. She was a lifelong member of Northwest Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20,2018 at Crawford Family Funeral Home in Edmond, OK. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018.
