Miriam Carley

Miriam Virginia Carley, 83, of Edmond, OK, passed away peacefully, December 2, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, in the comfort of home. Miriam was born September 7, 1937 in East Chicago, IN, to Robert and Marjorie (Hayman) Quigley. As a child Miriam loved to go swimming as well as cheerleading in her later years in high school. Miriam was married to her husband Robert in 1954 and would spend the next 57 years together, until Roberts passing on October 22, 2012. As a couple they loved to spend time together fishing. However, there was nothing Miriam loved more than being a mother and grandmother to all children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Miriam was preceded in passing by her husband, Robert, who she is now reunited with, once again. She was also preceded in passing by her parents, Robert, and Marjorie; two sons, Robert “Robbie” Carley and Terry Carley; and brother James Quigley. Miriam is survived by her three daughters, Denise Hodge & husband Rick of Edmond, Cheryl Carley of Edmond, and Sandra Monasmith & husband Tony of Loudon, TN. She is also survived by six grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren as well as a handful of great-great-grandchildren and many other extended family members. Graveside services to remember and celebrate Miriam's life will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 1:00PM at Gracelawn Cemetery in Edmond, OK.
