Michael Schoonover

July 22, 1951 - February 8, 2021

Michael Howard Schoonover, 69, of Edmond, OK, passed away Monday morning, February 8, 2021 at Integris Health Edmond. Michael was born on July 22, 1951 in Tokyo, Japan, to John and Iris Schoonover (Webb) and was one of three children. Michael was a hardworking family man, with a love for his country. He was married to his loving wife, Patricia, for over 43 years, where together they had 3 beautiful children, Kim, Candance, and John. Michael was a Superintendent in Commercial Construction for over 30 years and proudly served and defended his country as a member of the United States Army, serving as a “Screaming Eagle” in the 101st Airborne, in Vietnam. Michael is survived by his wife, Patricia; his three children, Kim (Blake), Candance (Casey), and John (Desiree); grandchildren, Zac, Asher, Devan, Michael, and Benjamin. Michael is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Gentry; his two sisters, Carol, and Sherry; and his nieces, Jamy, Alison, and Elizabeth. He was preceded in passing by his parents, John, and Iris. Services to remember and celebrate Michaels life are currently pending.
