October 30, 1932 - June 17, 2020
Funeral services for Mary Ann Braden will be held Saturday, June 20th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Crawford Family Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma. Mary Ann Neghil Allison Braden, 87 years old, wife of Carl Kelly Braden (married 11/18/1952 – 67 years), passed away on June 17th, 2020 in Edmond. Mary Ann was born on October 30th, 1932 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Frank and Dewey Allison. Mary Ann graduated from Seminole High School in 1951. At a young age, she took on the role as a domestic engineer and fully embraced the title; so much so that she left this earth first to ensure the Braden heavenly home was fully ready for when her beloved, Carl, joins her. Friends and family whether immediate or distant had a place in her home if it were only for a few minutes, a few hours or a few days, to enjoy her hospitality, her generosity, her infamous coconut cream pie and chicken and noodles to name a few. Her home was the place you came when you needed an escape from the world. Mary Ann was a strong woman of faith and loved the Lord her Savior. To know Mary Ann was to love her and in return you were loved fiercely, fed fully and prayed for to the utmost. Mary Ann is survived by her husband Carl Braden of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Schrie Braden of Kingfisher, Oklahoma, one daughter, Carla Cormack of Edmond, Oklahoma; five granddaughters, Ashley and Joey Bowling of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Allison and Doug Haymaker of Edmond, Kelli Cormack of Edmond, Kristi Cormack of Edmond and Autumn and Alex Kidd of Edmond; four great grandchildren, Braden and Hunter Haymaker and Collin and Anna Bowling. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Dewey Allison and two brothers, Sam Allison and Frank Allison Jr. Services will be under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Home in Edmond, Oklahoma and officiated by Pastor Rex Haymaker. Burial will take place following services Saturday at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, the family would ask donations be made to Boys Ranch Town – Edmond in memory of Mary Ann. Donations can be made online or over the phone at 405.942.3800 ext. 4688.
