December 5, 1985 - October 27, 2019
We lost our angel on Sunday, October 27, 2019. Mandy Gail Gorsuch, 33, was called home to be with her Lord. She was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on December 5, 1985. Mandy attended Mustang High School and after graduating Mandy did what she loved best, learning new things and working with her hands. Mandy believed in Jesus and loved God. She portrayed that love daily through her unjudging and giving spirit. So many can attest to her loving and forgiving spirit. It didn’t matter if you were a medical doctor or someone who was down on life through addiction or sin, she loved and cared for anyone that came within her voice. She treated everyone with respect and would treat you as family. When Mandy was younger, she exasperated her parents many times inviting what seemed like the entire neighborhood to dinner at the last minute. She loved and supported her family unconditionally. Mandy and her family had a bond that could not be broken by any distance or disagreement. They fought hard and they loved hard. There was never a moment that they didn’t know there was unconditional love for one another, even during the stormy seasons. They held on to one another through good and bad times; prayers for one, another abounded for each other, every night without fail. Mandy was an avid OU fan and would scream Boomer Sooner the entire football season. Her mom loved to send her a text on game day rooting for the other team. Mandy loved animals and her home was a petting zoo all of her life. Our hearts are hurting, Mandy was greatly loved, and we will miss her every second of every day until we see her again. We love you most Mandy, you are forever in our hearts. She is survived by her wife Jenny Gorsuch and stepson Randall Dowdy; Mother, Sherri Spencer and stepdad Bill Spencer; Father, Gary Gorsuch and stepmom Becky Gorsuch; Grandparents, Vernon and Joanne Bass and Bill and Francis Joslin; Sister, Angie Leming; Brother, Joshua Hughes; Sisters, Ashley Gorsuch, Madison Gorsuch and Kelly Spencer as well as a large extended family. Services celebrating the life of Mandy will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Seward Road Baptist Church, 4801 W Seward Rd, Guthrie, OK 73044 with a reception following for family and friends.
