Lois Louise Batey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lois Louise Batey passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 1st, 2022. Born in OKC on November 26th, 1932, to Jacqueline Gordon. Adopted at 6 months by Walter and Vera Lane. Lois grew up in Del City/Midwest City. She attended MWC high school and remained a true “Bomber.” She enjoyed collecting antiques and traveling with her husband, Dana, and her lifelong friends. She was always passionate about her Indian heritage. Mom had many dogs over the years that brought her endless joy and at the end of her journey her beloved dog “Angie”. She was preceded in death by her husband Dana D. Batey, parents Jackie Gordon and Walter and Vera Lane, sons- Paul Moody and Glenn Jay. She is survived by her daughter Karen and son-in-law Steve Hudiburg of Edmond, Marsha Wiggins/Craig, Darrell Batey, Larry Batey/ Lupe and Sue Batey. Grandchildren: Michael Newsom/ Ma’gen, Nicoli Newsom/Sara, Kaylan Freeman/Dustin, Casey Jay, Sarah Korsun/Colby, Britni Jay, Jayce Hudibug/Casey Ann. 11 great grandchildren and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren in the Batey Family. A very special thank you to Mom’s caregivers Denise, Glenda, LaTasha, Shawna. The love and care you gave mom and our family we will be forever grateful.
