They dated for several years and were married August 31st, 1956. Bobbie and Rex have a daughter Dee Ann and a son Kevin and were very active in their lives as they grew up. Bobbie was a wonderful cook and talented seamstress. She made many clothes for her daughter and never missed one of her son’s baseball games. They loved to invite neighborhood friends and children to spend time with them on the water and teach them how to ski. She was very helpful to Rex while he traveled during the week for work and enjoyed accompanying him for several years. They lived in many cities throughout her lifetime including Austin, San Antonio, Tulsa, Kansas City, and Dallas. When Rex retired, they moved to Edmond, Oklahoma to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Bobbie’s strong faith was of utmost importance to her. She was a Certified Biblical Counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and she counseled numerous people as a ministry.
